'09 UNIVERSITY:Evolution...True? The Bible...True? Meets 1st Service in the Atrium (Go past the restrooms and take the first hallway to the right; midway down the hall, look for the stairs on the left going down into the atrium area.) This challenging course will delve deeply into two of the most provocative questions of our modern-day culture: Is Evolution True? Is the Bible True? EVOLUTION: We will study how our body systems operate and how they could not have evolved; the assumptions and gross inaccuracies of Darwinism, Carbon Dating, and more. THE BIBLE: Who's to say that the Bible is True? Maybe the Q'uran is True; or the Book of Mormon or the Vedas? Our entire knowledge of God and our Christian faith is based on the Bible. Either the Bible is True or it is not - Truth is absolute! Join us as we look deeply into these most critical issues of life. Fall 09 LifeGroup: Crown Financial Study MEETS: During 2nd Service, Room 3328 (Meets Sept. 27 - Dec. 6) This year Crown is wanting to assist you in Managing Our Finances God's Way. We will be listening to Rick Warren (Purpose Driven Life), Chip Ingram (Walk Thru the Bible), Ron Blue, Howard Dayton, and Chuck Bentley all of different Financial Ministries, over 7 weeks tell us how to Manage our Finances God's Way. We will look at Bible verses they guide us to, do homework on basic financial organization, and discuss how we can encourage one another to accomplish our financial goals. The cost is only about $15 and includes a notebook and cd with forms on it. |

Let us come together and pray regularly for our children's future spouses and their spouses' families. In addition to this primary purpose of this life group, we will also be praying for our children's sexual safety and purity. SERVING TEAM: Handyman Helpers This group is made up of men, women and teens interested in serving the church body and the community at large in practical everyday ways. Practical service could include mowing a lawn, painting a room or a house, shoveling snow off of a driveway, fixing a plumbing problem, minor electrical repairs, chopping wood, etc.-whatever the Lord may bring our way. The group's goal is to have several ready volunteers to tackle any job while at the same time sharing Christ through "doing." |
